Steve’s career is marked by his ability to seamlessly integrate into C-suites and work alongside employees within the firm and InTandem’s portfolio companies. Whether it’s crafting strategic contracts, developing compliance frameworks, spearheading acquisitions, resolving disputes, or offering strategic guidance, Steve is dedicated to ensuring these companies not only meet but exceed their strategic goals. His efforts are pivotal in accelerating the development of legal and compliance infrastructures, thereby helping to enable business growth.

Before joining InTandem, Steve served as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Clayton Holdings, LLC. He played a crucial role in Clayton Holdings’ successful IPO and its subsequent transition back to private equity ownership. Steve’s extensive experience spans a wide range of legal and regulatory challenges, including advising senior management on complex legal, business and regulatory matters, managing contracting and M&A activities, overseeing corporate compliance and governance, and navigating commercial disputes.

Previously, Steve held the position of General Counsel at two companies led by Elliot Cooperstone. He holds a Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School and an MBA in Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
