James is the Controller of InTandem Capital. Prior to joining InTandem, James was the Controller at Sheridan Capital Partners, a Chicago-based healthcare private equity firm with a focus on the middle-market. While at Sheridan, James’s primary responsibilities included managing the private equity fund’s financial reporting, tax, and accounting functions. Prior to his role at Sheridan, James was a senior accountant at a middle- market private equity firm where he performed accounting and tax services. James began his career at Deloitte within their asset management tax practice.

James earned a B.S in Economics and a B.A in History from the College of Charleston. James holds a Masters of Accounting and Taxation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Wisconsin School of Business. James is also a licensed CPA in the state of Illinois*
