Nina O’Brien is an eight-time national champion, a world championship gold medalist, an Olympian, and a fierce competitor. Nina began her racing career with Team Palisades and was named to the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team in 2016. In 2019, she won the NorAm overall title. Nina competed for the United States at the 2022 Winter Olympics in China and was in sixth place in the giant slalom after the first run. After a crash near the finish of the second run, Nina suffered multiple leg fractures. She returned to competitive skiing the following year and was a member of the team event that won gold at the 2023 World Championships.
Through the adversity of injury and the demanding rigors of rehab, Nina has demonstrated a grace and generosity of spirit that is as admirable as her performance. That unique combination resonates deeply with her teammates at InTandem. Our team is proud to support Nina and cheer her on to accomplish all she can on the snow and in life.
