Pamela Romas Applefeld is a Managing Director of InTandem Capital. Pam has been identifying, evaluating, and executing private equity and subordinated debt transactions in the healthcare services sector for more than 20 years. In support of InTandem’s portfolio companies, Pam brings acquisition origination and diligence capabilities, along with capital structuring, and negotiation experience. Pam’s relationship network in both private equity broadly and healthcare services specifically enhances the business development capabilities of the InTandem team. Pam has served on private company boards of directors and is experienced in the development and analysis of strategic planning, human resource management and financial reporting.
Before InTandem, she was a Senior Vice President of PineBridge Investment’s Structured Capital team. At PineBridge she was responsible for originating, evaluating, and executing private equity and subordinated debt investments. Earlier, she worked at Emigrant Capital/FriedbergMilstein, investing in leveraged buyouts and growth equity. She also held associate roles at TA Associates, a leading global growth private equity firm, and at JPMorgan Chase in its Financial Sponsors Group. Ms. Applefeld received a BA in Government from Cornell University’s College of Arts & Sciences, with a concentration in International Relations, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
