Elliot Cooperstone is the Founder and Managing Partner of InTandem Capital. As a former business executive in acquisitive companies, Elliot has a special appreciation for the challenges, difficulties, and joys of running a growing company on a day-to-day basis. His ability to easily relate to successful entrepreneurs and their leadership teams further enhances his aptitude for building great businesses and great partnerships. Elliot’s deep operational background coupled with his extensive healthcare services investment experience make him uniquely qualified to provide strategic, acquisition and operating expertise to InTandem’s portfolio companies. His talent for inspiring greatness, identifying successful growth strategies, and executing add-on acquisitions are instrumental to helping portfolio company CEOs and their teams build much larger and more capable organizations. Elliot is an active board member for InTandem Capital’s portfolio companies.
Mr. Cooperstone was previously CEO of Prodigy Health Group, Inc., a health plan services company acquired in 2011 by Aetna Inc. Prior to Prodigy Health, Mr. Cooperstone was the Vice President and General Manager of the Employer Group (ESG) at Intuit. Mr. Cooperstone joined Intuit in 2000 upon that company’s acquisition of EmployeeMatters, Inc., a company he co-founded in 1999 and for which he served as CEO.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Cooperstone was General Manager of the Employer Services Group at Intuit, a co-founder of EmployeeMatters, and Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Alexander & Alexander Services, Inc. He also had prior experience with Travelers Group, The Walt Disney Company and The Boston Consulting Group.
Mr. Cooperstone received common law and civil law degrees from McGill University in 1985 and an MBA from The Wharton School in 1988.
