St. Paul, MN – April 3, 2019 – Pediatric Home Service (PHS) has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer, Cameo Zehnder, JD.
“We are delighted to appoint Cameo as our new CEO,” said Susan Wingert, Founder, PHS, “Over the past twenty-five years, Cameo’s commitment to our vision of “taking care of the child” has been important to our organization. Her dedication to raising the standard of home care and working collaboratively with the community has been an example to our staff. Cameo is well qualified and I am confident she will continue to strengthen the organization and our tradition of exceeding the expectations of the families we serve.”
Wingert recognized the resignation of Mark Hamman as CEO and said that Hamman’s contribution to PHS during his leadership tenure was instrumental in the company’s growth.
“Mark made a significant contribution to our evolution,” said Wingert. “During his tenure, he has led important changes to improve our operations and drive further growth. He has been a tremendous asset to PHS and we are grateful for his leadership and many contributions throughout the past 15 years.”

I have never been more confident in PHS’s business strategy, leadership and entire team,” said Mark Hamman, former CEO. “I have worked closely with Cameo for the past several years. She has continuously demonstrated the leadership and professionalism that PHS needs now and into the future.”
Wingert went on to say that Zehnder’s energy advocating for the medically complex population at the legislature has helped to provide education on the individualized needs of the medically complex pediatric community. With her team, Cameo brings new ideas to the care delivery model of the home care industry.

I am surrounded by strength at every level of the organization from outstanding individuals who work every day to ensure our patients are receiving the very best care and service,” said Zehnder. “As I begin my new position, I will focus on continuing to do what we have done for the past 30 years, and that is put the patient first.”
Zehnder received her JD from the Hamline University of Law. Prior to CEO, she held roles as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for PHS. Zehnder serves as a member of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA), as well as Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA), and Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services (MAMES).
